For the 1990s revival of the Outer Limits collection, the story was again reprised with Leonard Nimoy because of the robot’s lawyer and John Novak as the robot’s voice. I, Robot plus The Trial of Adam Hyperlink, had been tailored for an episode of the 1960s science fiction anthology sequence The Outer Limits in 1964, starring Leonard Nimoy as a journalist and Howard Da Silva because the robots lawyer, with Read Morgan as Adam Hyperlink. Three of the Adam Hyperlink stories were adapted by Al Feldstein and illustrated by Joe Orlando in 1955. Problems with the EC Entertaining Comics publication Bizarre Science-Fantasy. A decade later, Binder adapted eight of the tales for Creepy journal over 1965-1967, and Orlando supplied new artwork. Binders’ story was very progressive for its time, considered one of the primary robot stories to break away from the Frankenstein clichés. My e-book is now the more well-known of how Otto’s story was there first.
